GESCHIEDENIS:
Albert Plesman gaf in 1937 de opdracht om een nieuw KLM Hoofdkantoor te bouwen en van 1949 tot 1970 was het hier gehuisvest. Vanaf 1970 tot 2017 deed het gebouw jarenlang dienst als ministerie van Verkeer en Waterstaat. Het monument is in 2022 getransformeerd naar een prachtig nieuw woongebouw. HISTORY:
Albert Plesman commissioned a new KLM Headquarters in 1937 and from 1949 to 1970 it was housed here. From 1970 to 2017, the building served as the Ministry of Transport and Water Management for many years. The monument was transformed into a beautiful new residential building in 2022. The attractive common areas with authentic details like the steel doors and beautiful staircases and halls, the beautiful monumental entrance and soon the common courtyard garden and parking garage make this truly a unique building in the middle of a green environment in a beautiful dune area.
