The Frame Building in ArenAPoort, Amsterdam

The new residential tower 'The Frame Building' is rising on the corner of the Amsterdamse Poort shopping center and at the foot of the Amsterdam ArenA Boulevard.

The Frame Building is an extensive site transformation from an empty, outdated office building into a sustainable residential building with a total of 213 rental apartments. The Frame Building will be built on the site of the old ING head office. Construction started in the summer of 2021 and the expected completion of The Frame Building will be in the 2nd quarter of 2023. The Frame Building will comprise a total of 213 rental homes, of which 69 are social rental homes, 37 are in the mid-rental segment and 107 are private rental homes. The apartments vary in size from 26 m2 to 102 m2. Rental prices from € 825 to € 2,600 per month excluding € 50 advance service costs, including floor and wall finishing.

Future residents of The Frame Building will live without gas and the apartments will be connected to Amsterdam's district heating network. There will be a parcel service in the entrance of the building where residents can have their postal parcels delivered or returned in secure parcel lockers. Residents are immediately notified when packages are delivered and pick up the package when it suits them. The residents can use the spacious indoor bicycle sheds and a launderette with professional washing and drying machines. On the roof of the apartment complex there will be a communal roof terrace for the residents.

The complex is easily accessible and is centrally located in the Amsterdam Southeast district within walking distance of public transport and the Amsterdamse Poort shopping center. In the vicinity of The Frame Building there is an extensive range of shops for all daily necessities and cozy catering establishments. The Nelson Mandelapark is just around the corner and the Gaasperpark and Gaasperplas can also be reached by bike within a few minutes.

The location of The Frame Building right next to important public transport hubs such as Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA station and various bicycle routes - in combination with the large bicycle parking with no less than 430 places in the plinth of the building - encourages sustainable travel by public transport and bicycle. The train and metro station Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA is a 5-minute walk from The Frame Building and you can reach important places such as the Amsterdam Zuidas, Amsterdam Central and Schiphol Airport within 15 minutes by public transport. With the favorable location of The Frame Building, the A2, A9 and A10 motorways can be reached within a few minutes by car.

Unique to The Frame Building is that the Turn-Key project is delivered with a high-quality finish on the inside and outside. For example, all windows of the houses are fitted with sun-resistant HR++ insulating glass, the interior walls are well finished, all houses are equipped with a Bruynzeel kitchen with various built-in appliances and every apartment has a PVC or wooden floor.

NB; The Frame Building does not have its own parking garage. Parking is possible (based on availability) in the vicinity in the municipal or commercial garages (Q-Park).
