The city centre of Zaandam with a wide range of shops, supermarkets and restaurants, is located at 10 minutes’ away by bike and at 5 minutes’ of cycling distance you will find an extensive local shopping centre with an Albert Heijn supermarket, a snack bar, Gall & Gall, Kruidvat, florist, butcher, bakery, pharmacy, dentist and bus station. In the immediate vicinity of the house, there are several (primary and secondary) schools. The main railway station of Zaandam is located at 5 minutes’ of cycling distance from the house, from which there are fast train connections to e.g. Amsterdam Central Station (12 minutes). The highways (A8, A10 and A7) are also easily accessible.
Layout of the house: Ground floor: Through the tiled front yard, we arrive at the front door of the house.
Behind the front door, we find the entrance hall with wardrobe, meter closet, guest toilet with hand basin, extra niche (with space for cabinets or a modest home office) and access to the living room with open kitchen.
