Looking for a spacious home to renovate?

This spacious, somewhat hidden house is ideally located in the green residential area 'Hornmeer'. All imaginable facilities such as a supermarket, community school with childcare and swimming pool 'de Water Lily' are within walking distance. In addition, football and tennis fields, a gym and petting zoo are a stone's throw from the house.

The house itself is located on a nice plot of 173 m² and includes a deep backyard, living room with open kitchen, three bedrooms and a big attic. The current owners have always lived and maintained in the house with care. Nevertheless, the entire house needs to be modernized by the new owner.

Layout

Ground floor:
Entrance into the hall with the meter cupboard and wardrobe. Tucked away under the stairs is a storage room with connections for the washing machine and dryer. The toilet is also under the stairs. From the hall there is access to the...

Living room with open kitchen:
The living room has the space for a sitting area at the front and a dining table at the rear of the house. A few years ago, the dividing wall between the living room and the kitchen was removed through a simple intervention and a large open kitchen was created. This kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, sink, 5-burner gas stove with oven and a freestanding American fridge. The backyard is accessible via a door from the kitchen.

First floor:
Three bedrooms and the bathroom are adjacent to the landing on the first floor. All three bedrooms are a good size and two of the three rooms also have handy fitted wardrobes. The simple bathroom has a shower with washbasin.

Second floor:
The second floor currently consists of a loft with a fourth bedroom. By placing one or perhaps two dormer windows, two extra bedrooms (or 1 spacious one) can easily be created here. The central heating boiler is also located in the attic.

Garden:
The deep backyard is located on the south and therefore mainly enjoys the morning and afternoon sun. At the back of the garden is a stone shed. The storage room is equipped with electricity and offers plenty of space for bicycles, scooter, motorcycle, garden tools, and so on. The garden is also accessible via a back entrance.

Location:
Aalsmeer is conveniently located in relation to roads to Amsterdam, Haarlem, Hoofddorp, Amstelveen, Utrecht and The Hague. Within half an hour you reach the center of Amsterdam and within fifteen minutes you are at Schiphol. Aalsmeer is also very favorable in terms of public transport: two train stations a short distance away (Hoofddorp and Schiphol), both easily accessible by bus. From these stations there are connections to the various major cities. Aalsmeer has a rich club life in many areas. There are a large number of catering establishments and there is a beach along the Westeinde, near the most beautiful water tower in North Holland, within walking distance of the Roerdomplaan. The municipality of Aalsmeer consists of the villages Aalsmeer and Kudelstaart and has more than 30,000 inhabitants. The Westeinderplassen offer a unique nature and recreation area with beautiful open water for water sports and a maze of ditches to explore by motorboat or canoe. In addition, the nearby Amsterdamse Bos is a nice recreational area for a walk, theater or sports. A surprising village, in the middle of the Randstad, where it is wonderful to live.

Good to know:
- It concerns a handy house which needs to be completely modernized by the new owner;
- The house was fitted with acoustic glazing by Schiphol a few years ago;
- In connection with the year of construction of the house, clauses relating to age and asbestos will be included in the deed of purchase.
